Data navigation generation could be achieved starting from paper base maps. Shotpoints locations are vectorized into XY co-ordinates. The digital navigation data in a loc file format could be output to an exabyte tape, floppy and CD-ROM or inserted in the tape trace headers of the SEG-Y seismic data. For the reprocessing of seismic data, elevation data is of high importance in the calculation of statics corrections. In case of lack of this information in the seismic field documents, we can provide a solution by digitizing existing top label from the original processed seismic section. The digital data is output in an ASCII file format.
